Urban Boneing Part 1: PARTING & PLANTING

On Saturday, May 10th, 21:00 – 24:00, the opening performance of URBAN BONEING takes place at the Theater Neumarkt in  Zürich.

Part 1 – Parting and Planting
The bones of a pig are seperated from the meat and buried in public space in the inner city of Zurich. The visitors are invited to participate in the seperating and burying.

Part 2 – Transforming and Harvesting
During the summer the bones are cleaned by the soil organisms. In autumn Club Real will harvest them and use them in their one week long residency at Theater Neumarkt.

Urban Boneing Part 2: HARVESTING and EXHIBITING (coming summer 2015 in Zürich)

Club Real gründet die Bewegung „Urban Boneing“ und präsentiert die erste Veranstaltung am Theater Neumarkt in Zürich.

Teil1 – Parting und Planting:
Die Knochen eines Schweines werden vom Fleisch getrennt und in Zürich vergraben. Die Besucher sind eingeladen, sich an der Zerlegung des Schweins und dem Vergraben der Knochen zu beteiligen.

Teil 2 – Transforming und Harvesting:
Die Knochen werden über den Sommer von den Bodenorganismen gereinigt. Im Herbst arbeitet Club Real in einer einwöchigen residency am Theater Neumarkt mit den geernteten Knochen.

URBAN BONEING ist ein Kunstprojekt zum kulturellen Umgang mit Knochen und mit der Nutzung des Stadtraums. URBAN BONEING bedeutet:
• Knochen werden der Verwertung als Bioabfall und Rohmaterial entzogen
• Der urbane Raum wird als Feld für Knochen betrachtet und genutzt
• Die Praxis beinhaltet Knochengewinnung/Auspflanzung/Transformation/Ernte und Präsentation der reifen Knochen.
